The ancient crossroads of several civilizations, Greece offers the world’s greatest reserve of cultural wealth — from prehistoric and Classical to Roman, Byzantine and Venetian. You can explore countless archaeological sites, hundreds of museums and more than 15 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, while sampling our varied folkloric traditions and cuisines.

Our geography and weather are, of course, the prime reasons for taking a cruise aboard Milos luxury motor yacht. With a sunny and mild climate — especially at sea — Greece offers approximately 16,000 km of breathtaking coastline, about half of it surrounding some 6,000 islands, only 227 of which are inhabited.

In 2009/10, more than 400 of our beaches and nine marinas were awarded the “Blue Flag,” placing us second among 50 countries. “Blue Flag” is an international environmental and safety designation for beaches, where scuba diving, snorkeling, water skiing and windsurfing are offered in addition to swimming.
